Every person has a sin problem

God made a way
God didn't leave us in the gap. He crossed it Himself. Jesus Christ — fully God and fully man — lived a sinless life, died on a cross taking the punishment we deserved, and rose from the dead three days later. His resurrection is the hinge of history. It means death has been defeated. And it means the door is open.

The problem
God is perfect. We are not. The penalty for sin is death — not just physical death, but eternal separation from God (the "second death" described in Revelation 20:14). No amount of good works, religion, or self-improvement closes that gap. We cannot earn our way to God.

Jesus took the penalty we deserved. On the cross, the full weight of human sin — past, present, and future — was placed on Him. He absorbed God's righteous wrath so we wouldn't have to. When He said "It is finished," He meant it. The debt is paid. The door is open.

Tell a friend or family member what happened. Saying it out loud anchors it — and you never know who else needs to hear it.

Prayer is simply talking to God. No special words required. Tell Him what's on your mind. Ask for help. Thank Him. He hears you.

Common Questions
What if I don't feel anything?
Salvation is not based on a feeling — it's based on faith. Feelings come and go. God's word doesn't. If you sincerely believed and asked, it happened. "Whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved" — Romans 10:13. No exceptions. No minimum emotional threshold required.
What if I've done terrible things?
The gospel is for terrible sinners. That's the whole point. Paul — who wrote most of the New Testament — called himself the "chief of sinners" (1 Tim 1:15). Jesus ate with tax collectors and prostitutes. The blood of Jesus is sufficient for every sin you have ever committed or will commit. There is no exception clause.
Do I have to clean up my life first?
No. You come as you are. God doesn't require you to fix yourself before He'll accept you — He accepts you and then begins the work of transformation. That's called sanctification. It's a process, not a prerequisite. "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." — Matthew 11:28
What if I'm not sure I believe?
That's okay. Faith isn't the absence of doubt — it's choosing to trust despite uncertainty. Even the disciples doubted (Matt 28:17). Start with what you do believe and ask God honestly: "Help my unbelief." (Mark 9:24). He honors that prayer. He can handle your questions.
Can I lose my salvation?
This is one of the most debated questions in Christianity. Many traditions hold that genuine saving faith, once given by God, cannot be lost — citing Romans 8:38–39 ("nothing can separate us from the love of God") and John 10:28–29 ("no one can snatch them out of my hand"). Others hold that persistent, willful rejection of faith is possible. What is certain: genuine faith perseveres. If you truly believed, you are secure.
Does it matter which church I go to?
Yes — some. Find a church that believes the Bible is God's word, preaches Jesus as the only way to salvation, and takes the resurrection seriously. Denominations vary on secondary issues, but these core truths are non-negotiable. If a church denies any of them, find another.
What about people who've never heard of Jesus?
This is a deep question that theologians have wrestled with for centuries. Romans 1 says God has made Himself known through creation, and Romans 2 suggests God judges according to the light people have received. What we know for certain: God is just, and He will do what is right. Our job is to share the gospel with as many as possible — which is the whole point of the Great Commission (Matt 28:18–20).
